Season 2 Awards, Game of Thrones

I’ll think of others (especially as I talk to fellow GoT fanatics), but these are the ones that occur to me before bed. And, yes, most of these are from the last episode. Let’s just say I have a short memory and leave it at that, eh?

The Season 2 Awards (So Far):

Award for Most Appropriate Imagery: Tywin Lannister’s horse taking a dump on the Throne Room floor, before getting the Kings Landing Key-To-The-City.

Award for Biggest WTF?: The Red Priestess giving birth to a shadow, hours after seducing the King.

Award for Biggest HEHEHEHE: The look on the warlock’s faces as these little rats with wings burn them to cinders… so much for 1000 year plans.

Award for Best Quote: Tyrion Lannister: “That would make me the “Quarter Man”; just doesn’t have the same ring to it. Cut me in half and I won’t be able to give the signal. No signal, no plan. No plan and Stannis Baratheon sacks this city, takes the Iron Throne, puts your pinched little head atop a gate somewhere. It might be quite amusing, except my head would be up there too! I’ve never much liked my head, but I don’t want to see it removed just yet.”

Award for Best Season Crossover with another Movie/Series: Dany in the Warlock’s Tower after stepping out of the destroyed Throne Room:  Oh, look, HOTH! Where’s the Wampas? Hark, the White Walkers are coming to fuck up our shit. Protect the Shield Generators! Ahhh!
